Digester Upgrade
Scope of Works
Demolition and replacement of the existing concrete roof on a 22.7m diameter anaerobic digester with a new membrane roof with a capacity of approximately 1910m3. The project includes the follow key elements:
Demolition of existing concrete roof structure
Extension of the existing digester perimeter wall by 1m
Installation of new double membrane roof system
Installation of new digester pumped mixing system
Upgrade of existing electrical configuration involving installation of new MCC including associated ICA works
Using our inhouse design capability, GEL has been working in close collaboration with The Client to develop the design of the Digester upgrade project. The project aligns with the latest standards and uses the latest industry technology to ensure the final design solution is safe, cost efficient and meets operator expectations and maintenance requirements.
